teachers to enable people to get really settled and relaxed and get plenty done.
Classes are held in a attractive open studio environment with lively music playing close to the lovely garden and tea breaks are held on a big veranda overlooking the sea. There is lots of laughter and the people who form part of these two Art groups are a wonderful mix of ages, cultures and languages. Everyone dresses very informally and lasting friendships are made here. It is never too late to start Art and unlike many other activities, you can do it for the rest of your life regardless of health or mobility.
Since this Art studio was started in 2001, many people have moved on independently and are earning an income as artists in their own right.
In addition to painting and Art teaching, Carol is also a established Ceramic Artist with numerous examples of her work in many SA Public Art Galleries, Museums and in private Art collections throughout South Africa and abroad. She is currently known for he expressive sculptures of Horses which are exhibited and sold regularly in local durban galleries, as well as Joburg, Cape Town, Clarens and other galleries in the Western Cape.
