Hi Alain,

In June this year I was over the moon when I got my “Green Number” from the Comrades Association for successfully completing my 10th Comrades Marathon.

When all that excitement was over I had prevent myself from getting depressed by inventing a new challenge to keep my mind occupied. This was presented to me in a wonderful way! ! I invested in a Sony flat screen TV and BluRay Theatre system.   By viewing DVD’s such as “Nowhere Boy” (about John Lennon starting The Beatles by meeting Paul McCartney) reminded me to keep “Imagining”, “August Rush” (film’s hero ending up in Central Park), and History Channel’s “The Real Face of Jesus?” (to name but a few), culminated with Jackie Evancho’s “Dream With Me”  To cut a long story short, this  “angel” (as she is affectionately called by her producer, David Foster), gets taken by him into a museum containing enormous paintings by the Dutch Master, Peter Paul Rubens, motivating me to fantasize that my “Circles” project has not yet ended but in fact  is just beginning!

It was a fortunate day for me when we met at your fabulous store last Friday! Thank you for asking all the “right” questions and inspiring all the right answers. If I remember correctly you exclaimed “ Please tell me you haven’t finished your unique painting you have been working forever on?   My immediate response was “Most people fear I’m loosing my mind when I tell them that I’m considering presenting the present version I’ve not yet found a home for in it’s twelve years of production as a miniature rough of the giant size mural I fantasize starting, containing 360 really inspirational messages, crowned off by five Sacred Decrees, (one for each day of the year).

When I shared with you, that I hope finding my “missing link” (someone out there who shares an adventurous soul and my “Camelot” mentality), “throwing out a line” in search of someone who believes in the concept the way I do, experienced in management or marketing with the ability to tastefully reach out to patrons of the arts, or better still... legends such as Paul McCartney himself, (who’s messages in so many ways are reflected in my painting), Elton John (composer of The Circle of Life song), Chris de Burgh, Richard Branson, and VW (hub cap featuring as the big star in artwork)! Your kind response was to “Send me your story and lets see what happens through my links! So here it is.
