Jabulani Douglas Cele

Jabulani Douglas Cele was born in Kwa Mashu on June 13 1981. 

He grew up in Dube Village, Inanda.  He attended Kwa Shembe Memorial School and later, Mzuvele High School.

A keen and accomplished artist throughout his schooling, Jabulani set his mind on becoming a  professional artist in 1999.

In 2008 he was commissioned to paint a portrait of King Shembe and in 2009, Chief Albert Luthuli.

He was recently commissioned by Ethekwini Municipality to paint rural football scenes that hang proudly in the Presidential Suite of the Moses Madiba Stadium in Durban.
