Tissue paper, being so thin, will jam your machine. So cut the tissue paper into an A4 size (A3 if you have a bigger machine). Take a normal sheet of 80g bond and apply Pritt (or similar) glue in thin frame around it's edge. Then take the tissue paper sheet and glue it carefully to the bond paper so that there are no creases.
Place the "laminated" bond paper into your paper tray (making sure the printing will be done onto the tissue paper) and print your image.
Once printed, cut out the glued border to release the printed tissue paper from the bond carrier. You are now ready to adhere it to your canvas or board.
Apply medium to your canvas or board in a patch the same size as the tissue paper print that you are about to apply. Place the printed tissue paper onto the wet medium, burnishing through its center in a cross formation then from the center towards the sides in order to avoid creases.
Re-apply a coating of medium over the tissue paper so that it becomes transparent.
